Below are the first two volumes of the video journal of Matthew Dickerson, the June 2017 Artist-in-Residence at Glacier National Park in Montana.

The first volume, Going to the Sun, though its title is taken from the park’s famous Going-to-the Sun Road, is really about a day at top of that road, on Logan Pass and hiking from there over toward Hidden Lake starting with a pre-dawn visit to listen to birds and watch the sunrise.

The second volume, Reflections on Many Waters, is about reflections. It is about reflections on reflections: that is, musings about the many waters of Glacier National Park–especially some of the less famous waters–and what we see when we gaze upon them.
